On November 24, 2022, Fr. Rechie C. Gier, SCJ, a member of the Philippine Region, defended his MA Thesis entitled “Revitalizing Community Life of the Priests of the Sacred Heart Philippine Region.”  The Board of Examiners was composed of Fr. Oscar Ante, OFM, and Fr. ​Alejandro Gobrin, CMF.​, and Fr. Kristian Cangkung, CMF.  The MA Thesis Adviser was Fr. Agustinus Supur, CMF.

The defense was held in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Master of Arts in Religious Studies with the field of specialization in Consecrated Life. His work was recognized by the Board of Examiners as “Magna cum Laude” (with great distinction), the second-highest in the Latin honors. Congratulations to Fr. Rechie!
