Fr. Carlos Luis Suarez Codorniu, SCJ, the Superior General of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, together with Fr. Vincent Sri Herimanto, SCJ, the General Councilor for Asia arrived in Cagayan de Oro City on January 21, 2023, at 12:50 PM. Earlier they visited Metro Manila Area and Zamboanga del Sur Peninsula.

They were welcomed by the SCJ priests, seminarians, and personnel of the seminary at the entrance of the main building of the Sacred Heart Formation House. Both were given tribal garlands and native face masks, after which the superior of the community Fr. Patrick Gutib, SCJ, invited them to plant the tree, in remembrance of their visit.

After supper, the SCJ seminarians together with TMM Sisters performed a short cultural/religious number followed by a video presentation of the activities of the formation house for the year 2022.
