The Immaculate Conception Parish in Aluba, Cagayan de Oro City, vibrated with faith and fervor on December 8, 2023, as they celebrated their Patronal Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This significant event brought together the parish community to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, conceived free from original sin.
The heart of the celebration was the concelebrated Mass, presided over by the Most Reverend José A. Cabantan, D.D., the Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro. His presence and words added solemnity and inspiration to the occasion. Following the Holy Eucharist, the parishioners participated in a heartfelt Act of Consecration of the Philippines to the Immaculate Conception, reaffirming their devotion and seeking her intercession for the nation.
A beautiful floral offering to the Blessed Virgin Mary further adorned the church and symbolized the parishioners’ love and gratitude.
To conclude the joyful celebration, a common meal brought the community together in a spirit of fellowship and unity. Sharing food and laughter strengthened the bonds between parishioners and created lasting memories of the feast.
