On April 2, 2024, in a bittersweet gathering filled with memories and heartfelt farewells, the community bid adieu to Fr. Lukas Hadi Siswo Sasmito, SCJ, who last March 14, 2024, concluded his six-year term as Regional Superior. The occasion marked not just the end of a chapter but also the beginning of a new journey for Fr. Lukas, who is embarking on his next assignment at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in Quezon City, Diocese of Novaliches.

Fr. Lukas’s presence in the community of Cagayan de Oro over the past five years has been nothing short of impactful. Beyond his spiritual leadership, he became an integral part of community life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. Known for his passion for soccer, Fr. Lukas brought the community together on the field, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among its members.
