
Father Candido S. Bayron, SCJ, STL is a priest with the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ) in the SCJ Philippine Region. Born on June 22, 1983, he was ordained a priest on November 18, 2014. In 2021, he earned a Licentiate in Sacred Theology with a specialization in Spirituality and Pastoral Psychology from Loyola School of Theology.

On May 18, 2024, the Kasanag Daughters Foundation, Inc. (KDFI), the flagship social project of the Priests of the Sacred Heart – Philippine Region in Cagayan de Oro City, marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 25th Founding Anniversary. The event was filled with joy, gratitude, and a sense of accomplishment as the foundation reflected upon its journey of providing shelter and rehabilitation opportunities to victims of sexual abuse.
May 15th marks the commemoration of St. Isidore, the patron saint of farmers, in the parishes of Dumalinao and Kumalarang. The Dumalinao Parish celebrated it on May 15th, while the Kumalarang Parish observed it a day later on May 16th, 2024.
