Sacred Heart Formation House, Cagayan de Oro City, Baptism of the Lord

Just as Jesus’ baptism began His ministry, our baptism calls us to live as witnesses of His love and mercy. We are tasked to “put on Christ” through lives of service, holiness, and self-sacrifice, even in the face of challenges.

Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ)

The Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Roman Catholic apostolic religious community of both brothers and priests. We live, pray and work together in Europe, Africa, North and South America and Asia...
We use the initials SCJ after our names. SCJ comes from the Latin phrase Sacerdotes Cordis Jesu (a literal translation would be the Priests of the Heart of Jesus). In the Philippines and North America, we often refer to ourselves as the SCJ's. In much in the rest of the world, we are known as Dehonians. This name comes from the name of our founder, the Venerable Fr. Leo John Dehon.
