Celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph at Kasanag Daughters Foundation, Inc.

On March 19, 2025, the Kasanag Daughters Foundation, Inc. (KDFI) joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph, one of the foundation’s patron saints. This annual tradition is a moment of grace for the community, bringing together the beneficiaries, staff, and supporters in a spirit of thanksgiving and renewal.

The highlight of the celebration was a concelebrated Mass presided by Fr. Francis Pupkowski, SCJ. The solemn liturgy honored St. Joseph’s role as the faithful husband of Mary and the foster father of Jesus, recognizing his silent yet powerful witness to faith and trust in God’s providence.

St. Joseph: A Model of Faith and Protection

St. Joseph stands as a profound model of faith, obedience, and protection. Though an ordinary carpenter, he was chosen by God to be the guardian of the Holy Family, embracing his mission with unwavering trust. His life teaches us that true strength lies in humility and silent service. His example resonates deeply with the mission of KDFI, which seeks to provide love, care, and protection for young girls in need of healing and hope.

In his homily, Fr. Francis Pupkowski reflected on St. Joseph’s deep faith and its relevance to the young girls at KDFI. He emphasized three key messages: that God’s promises are always fulfilled, that faith brings hope even in difficult times, and that St. Joseph’s trust in God made him a model of protection and care. Addressing the girls, he assured them of their immense worth and God’s loving presence in their lives, encouraging them to trust in His plan for a brighter future.

Gratitude for Supporters and Benefactors

Fr. Pupkowski also extended his gratitude to the visitors and benefactors of KDFI, acknowledging their vital role in the foundation’s mission. Their generosity and presence serve as a tangible expression of God’s love and providence. Just as St. Joseph was entrusted with the care of the Holy Family, these sponsors and supporters play a crucial role in providing security and hope to the young girls under KDFI’s care.

Closing in Prayer

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt prayer to St. Joseph, asking for his intercession in guiding and protecting the young girls of KDFI. The Mass and the day’s events reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to its mission, inspired by the silent strength and unwavering faith of St. Joseph.

As the community of KDFI continues to journey in faith, the Feast of St. Joseph remains a cherished occasion—one that reminds all of God’s faithfulness, the power of hope, and the beauty of a life lived in trust and service.
