From October 13–17, 2025, the Priests of the Sacred Heart (SCJ) in the Philippine Region held their Annual Retreat at the Sacred Heart Spirituality Center in Lucoban, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, guided by Rev. Fr. Willyans Prado Rapozo, SCJ, General Councilor in Rome.
The retreat connected the Jubilee of Hope (2025) with the Dehonian Jubilee, marking 100 years since the death of Fr. Leo John Dehon and 150 years since the founding of the Congregation. Fr. Willyans invited everyone to live the Gospel “with an open heart,” deepening their love for Christ and renewing their commitment to reparation, unity, and mission.
Through prayer, silence, and fraternity, the participants rediscovered that everything begins and ends with love—the love of the Heart of Jesus that calls each Dehonian to be a sign of hope in today’s world.
“To be Dehonian is to make one’s life a living response to the love of the Heart of Christ.”
