“My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.” — Isaiah 55:8

Today’s Gospel reminds us that God does not measure us according to our calculations. We often compare: Who worked more? Who deserved more? Why did someone else receive the same blessing?

But God’s grace is not a salary—it is a gift.

The workers who came late received the same generosity as those who worked from morning. Jesus reminds us that God’s love is not limited by time, achievement, or our past. It is never too late to answer his call.

So today, let us stop comparing, practice gratitude, rejoice in the blessings of others, and use generously whatever God has given us.

Perhaps the most important question is not, “What did I receive compared with others?” but:

“Lord, what are you asking me to do with the time and gifts you have given me today?”

The vineyard is still open. It is never too late to begin again.
