We Are All Called to Be Saints
Holiness is not reserved for priests, religious, or extraordinary people. We are all called to become saints!
The saints were ordinary people who allowed God’s love to transform their lives. They were parents who sacrificed for their families, workers who lived honestly, neighbors who helped those in need, and people who chose forgiveness over resentment.
The Beatitudes show us the way: be humble, merciful, pure of heart, peacemakers, and hungry for what is right.
In our Filipino communities, holiness can be found in a mother caring patiently for her children, a father working honestly to provide for his family, a young person choosing what is right, or a neighbor reaching out to someone in need.
We do not have to be perfect to become saints. We need to allow God’s grace to lift us up and keep walking with Christ.
This week, choose one Beatitude to live out. Forgive someone, help a struggling family, bring peace where there is conflict, or perform one small act of love.
Remember: Holiness begins in ordinary life, through ordinary acts of love.
🙏 Lord, teach us to love as You love. Help us to become holy and one day bring us home to You.
Happy Solemnity of All Saints!
