Prayer for the Deceased SCJ Confreres

Merciful Father,

On this All Souls’ Day, we remember with love and gratitude our brother priests and confreres who have completed their earthly journey and returned to You.

We thank You for the gift of their lives, their priestly vocation, their dedication to the Church, and their faithful service to Your people and to our Congregation.

Lord, reward them for their generosity, forgive their human weaknesses, and embrace them with Your infinite mercy. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whom they loved and served, welcome them into the fullness of eternal life.

Comfort their families, friends, and all their fellow confreres who continue to remember them with love. May the witness of their lives inspire us to live our vocation with greater faithfulness, generosity, and commitment.

As members of one Dehonian family, we entrust them to Your loving hands, trusting in the promise of Christ, who died and rose again so that we might have eternal life.

May they enjoy the peace of Your Kingdom, where there is no more sorrow, suffering, or death, but only everlasting joy in Your presence.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
