Christ is Risen!

Christ is risen! The stone has been rolled away and the tomb is empty. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

“The Gospel is very clear: we need to go back there, to see Jesus risen, and to become witnesses of His resurrection… It is returning to our first love…” (Pope Francis)

Let us bring the joy of the gospel to the world by reflecting the Risen Lord in us, by living joyful lives filled with love and compassion. Let us be a resurrected people and testify to others that Christ is indeed risen in us!

+ Joseph C. Butlig, SCJ

Today, on April 1, 2022, at 3:05 AM, died our confrere Fr. Joseph C. Butlig, SCJ. He was 42 old, born on November 27, 1979. He made his first profession on vows on May 13, 2007, and was ordained, a priest on November 26, 2013. After a short assignment as a assistant parish priest in Dumalinao, he served the SCJ Philippine Region as a regional secretary, archivist and treasurer. He was also in charge of Kasanag Daughters Foundation, Inc.
