Easter is about a new life, about Jesus risen from the dead, giving us hope when things feel hopeless, courage when we want to run away, strength to be open and vulnerable, confidence in the face of death, when things are at their worst, when things are dark and when human possibilities are exhausted.

The Resurrection of Christ is the foundation of our faith. The empty tomb and the absence of his body proved that he is alive to fill the emptiness in our hearts, in our homes, and in our world with his loving and saving presence. This is the truth and the power of the Risen Lord. Death cannot contain the goodness and love of God for us. God is always with us and will never abandon us.

Let us bring the joy of the gospel to the world by reflecting the Risen Lord in us, by living joyful lives filled with love and compassion.  We are called to radiate the light and life of Christ to others by the way we live and love one another. Let us be a resurrected people and testify to others that Christ is risen in us!
