On June 27, 2025, the Cagayan de Oro Formation Community of the Priests of the Sacred Heart (SCJ) joyfully celebrated their patronal feast, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This day is very important for the Dehonian Family, as it is a time of spiritual renewal, thanksgiving, and coming together as a community centered on the merciful love of Jesus Christ.
On this Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are invited once again to contemplate a Heart that is open, wounded, and burning with love. In his message for this year, our General Superior, Fr. Carlos Luis Suárez Codorniú, SCJ, reminds us that this Heart is not closed in on itself, but turned toward the wounds of humanity. It is the Heart of Christ who sees, feels compassion, and responds.
On June 9, 2024, the Sacred Heart Formation Community in Cagayan de Oro City held a celebration to honor their benefactors. The highlight of the event was the Holy Eucharist, which was presided over by Fr. Francis Pupkowski, SCJ, alongside Fr. Niño Etulle, SCJ, the regional superior, and Fr.
