August 12, 2017 – More than 40 members of the “Apostleship of Prayer” from the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, members of Lay Dehonians and Dehonian Youth, Staff from Kasanag Daughters Foundation (KDF), TMM Sisters, SCJ seminarians  and friends of the Congregation, attended the celebration of 92^nd Death Anniversary of Fr. Leo John Dehon and Thanksgiving Mass of Fr. Dennis Macasero, SCJ.

The celebration was held at the Sacred Heart Formation House Chapel in Cagayan de Oro City. The main celebrant was Fr. Dennis Macasero, SCJ, assisted by Dn. Nathaniel Robilla, SCJ and members of the Aluba I Community and Dansolihon Chaplaincy.

After, the post communion prayer there was a video presentation for all those who attended the celebration to give them an idea about the Vision and Mission of the SCJ Philippine Region that lasted for 25 minutes. The celebration ended with simple dinner as an expression of thanksgiving for all those who participated the activity.
