The celebration of the 95th death anniversary of Fr. Leo John Dehon, the founder of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ), in the formation community in Cagayan de Oro City was preceded as usual with the nine-day novena. On August 11, 2020, in the evening the community watched a video clip presenting the life and activities of Fr. Dehon, which was followed by the Holy Hour. Continue reading
Father Dehon’s Sunday at Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Aluba
The death anniversary of Fr. Dehon in the Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Aluba is celebrated yearly on the closest Sunday to August 12. This year it was August 9, 2020, and was called Father Dehon’s Sunday.
