Parish Feast and Dedication of the Church in Dumalinao
On May 15, 2021, the parish community of San Isidro Labrador in Dumalinao celebrated its 64th Annual Feast of the Patron, and at the same time Dedication of the Church. The concelebrated Mass was presided by the bishop of Pagadian, Most. Rev. Ronald Lunas, D. D, who was joined by Fr. Joseph Muego, SCJ, the parish priest, Fr. St. Isidore was born in Madrid, Spain, in about the year 1070. His parents were pious Catholics but were very poor. Consequently, Isidore was sent to work for a wealthy landowner, John de Vargas. (whom he remained with for the rest of his life.) Continue reading
40th Parish Feast in Kumalarang
Rev. Fr. Francisco Baguio Jr, the Vicar Forane from the Diocese of Ipil, was the main celebrant of the Feast Mass of St. Isidore the Farmer, in Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur on May 14, 2021. He was accompanied by the Deacon, Rev. Carlito Gemina, Fr. John Karl Cabaluna SCJ, the parish priest, Fr. Dennis Macasero SCJ, the assistant parish priest, and other SCJ and diocesan priests.
