“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks to hearts filled with fear and uncertainty: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in God; have faith also in me.” These words were spoken to the disciples before His Passion, but they are also meant for us today.
We all experience moments of worry—about family, health, work, the future, and our faith. In those moments, Jesus does not simply give answers; He gives Himself. He says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Jesus is the way when we feel lost. He is the truth when the world is full of confusion. He is the life when we feel tired, discouraged, or spiritually empty.
Thomas asks, “How can we know the way?” This is also our question. Jesus reminds us that faith is not about having all the answers, but about trusting Him and walking with Him.
Philip asks, “Show us the Father.” Jesus replies, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” In Jesus, we see God’s mercy, compassion, and love.
This Gospel also challenges us: if people look at our lives, can they see Christ in us? Our kindness, forgiveness, and service should reflect His presence.
Jesus calls us not only to believe in Him, but to follow Him. In a troubled world, Christians are called to be signs of hope.
Today, let us trust His promise:
Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Stay close to Jesus—He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
