The community of San Isidro Labrador Parish in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, was filled with joy and thanksgiving on 24 September 2025, as the faithful witnessed the Ordination to the Sacred Order of Presbyters of Rev. Fr. Agustin Macabinta Indangan, Jr., SCJ. The sacred rite was conferred by His Grace, Most Rev. Ronald Anthony P. Timoner, STL, D.D., Bishop of Pagadian, in the presence of family, friends, priests, religious, and parishioners who gathered to celebrate this moment of grace.
On November 26, 2024, the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ) rejoiced as four new priests and one deacon were ordained at the St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. On February 20, 2024, the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ) celebrated the joyful ordination of four new deacons: Br. Giovanni Bautista, Br. Carl Ryan Opeña, Br. Rackie Roxas, and Br. July Zambrano. The ceremony, held at the St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, at 2:30 PM, was presided over by His Excellency, Archbishop Jose A. Cabantan, D.D., of Cagayan de Oro. He was joined by Archbishop Emeritus Most Rev. Antonio J. Ledesma, SJ. D.D., whose esteemed presence added further significance to the occasion.
