Sacred Heart Formation House, Cagayan de Oro City, 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In a world filled with fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, God invites us to place our trust in Him rather than in our worries. The readings remind us that we do not face life’s struggles alone. God is stronger than any opposition we encounter, His grace is greater than our sins and failures, and His love for us is constant and personal.

Fear can discourage us, paralyze us, and weaken our faith, but trust in God gives us the courage to move forward. Jesus assures us that we are precious in the Father’s eyes and that He cares for us even in the smallest details of our lives. Therefore, we should not allow fear, criticism, or uncertainty to control our decisions. Instead, we are called to fear God in the sense of loving reverence, placing Him above all else, and trusting that He will guide us through every trial. When God becomes greater in our eyes, our fears become smaller, and we can live with confidence, hope, and peace.
